I came away from my first appointment with Dr Lackey with a very positive impression. He had reviewed my medical history before the appointment so was well prepped for our time together. He listened, asked insightful questions, presented his hypotheses about the underlying causes of my symptoms, performed some tests. I asked questions and we had a good discussion. It's clear Dr Lackey knows his stuff! And cares about his patients. I learned a lot and can use the information to make changes.

My previous Neurologist was Dr. Tamara Miller, many blessings to her, she finally got to retire. She was absolutely a wonderful doctor that had cared for me for 25 years. I had an appointment with her right before she retired. She filled me in completely about Dr. Lackey and told she thought we would be a good fit as far as Dr, patient relationship. I saw Dr. Lackey for first time. He is a wonderful Dr., very knowledgeable, sincere, listens very well, gave me time to tell him my concerns. Very easy to tslk to. He was honest and forthright in his advice and opinion according to my care plan. Thank you Dr Lackey. And welcome to Colorado.

Went to this appointment w/full approval as the car accident had bounced my head on the ground from flying through the air. This has left me with issues and unfortunately the Dr, while intelligent, did not ask many questions. Felt like I was not allowed to participate in my own health-care. Not a Dr. myself but I do know my body and something is really wrong with my head. The diagnosis of migraines and medicine seemed clinical to me as my episodes last from seconds to minutes. I have some control by moving to in-direct light resulting in immediate relief. But if I do not move to indirect light, I pass out through body pressure. This I have no control of. Walked away confused me about what a migraine is and how much it encompasses. Are there migraines that last for seconds to minutes? Do I

I felt heard with Dr. Lackey and appreciated how thorough he was in both explaining and showing me related details in my MRI. He answered all questions and made sure I knew the plan and next steps. Very grateful I was able to get in knowing wait times are long in NoCo in general for neuro. Thank you!

Dr. Lakey was great to work with and very knowledgeable. He did more physical tests than any one else has. Very comfortable with him. Mr daughter-in-law, an RN, was there too and very impressed with him. The nurse and front desk woman were also very good!
