Eisenhower Wound Care Center

I have been a client of Dr. Ryan Wood since August. My condition was difficult and the depth of experience and caring by Dr. Wood and his team was wonderful. The office runs exceptionally efficiently, and was very clean and organized. The caregivers were all kind, helpful and empathetic. Dr. Wood provided exceptional care, explaining what was happening and why. In addition to being my wound care specialist, he also became my surgeon. I am so thankful to have had him treating me in both capacities. I am on the road to recovery and even though I feel grateful to not need his services for much longer, I'll miss the quality of the relationship built between patient and caregiver.

Eisenhower is a renown hospital and they have a great staff. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about their security. The security team are a contract company through Allied Universal. They are the most unwelcoming and cold group of people. It’s really disappointing that they are the front facing and are the first faces patrons have to see upon entry. I don’t understand why Eisenhower doesn’t employ their own security staff and spend the time on actual customer service and safety. They have the money for it.

I cannot say enough good things about the Eisenhower Wound Center and its medical director, Dr. Anibel Gauto. I just completed a course of 60 sessions of hyperbaric oxygen treatment at the center under his supervision. The two-hour treatments took place daily for three months, so I got to know Dr. Gauto and his staff very well. Dr. Gauto combines the humanity and compassion of a country doctor with the up-to-date knowledge and professionalism that you would expect at such a prominent institution. In addition to overseeing my treatment with care and concern, during its course he identified blood pressure, sleep apnea, and eustachian tube issues which he worked with my internist and other physicians to address. I had the option of doing my treatment at a private facility using the same

I have been to the wound clinic 3 three times; and I appreciate the attention given me. Dr. Gauto explains the procedures both to me as well as the nursing staff. Dr. Gauto is thorough, and very kind. My experience can only be rated the "very best"!

This office and its entire staff is beyond unprofessional.The Dr. was extremely rude and spoke to me like I was an idiot. Refused to ask direct questions or even check medical history just wanted to make assumptions or make it look like he was doing something all he was doing was checking scabbed wounds. When I proceeded to make notes/instructions for the wound care in my phone he tells me are you going to pay attention to me or play with your phone. Like really. He spoke down to me the whole time talking slowly and loud close to my face as if I was a child who didnt understand. When I brought his rudeness to his attention his nurse Mark began to speak loudly in my face verbally attacking me which Idk about you but Im a small woman and felt uncomfortable and threatened to be in a smal
