Edgewood Manor of Wellston

The staff of the facility are very friendly and truly care about the residents they take care of. Facility is very clean and staff take pride in appearance of facility and facility outcomes. I would recommend this facility for anyone in the community needing skilled nursing care or long term care, or anyone nurses or STNA's wanting to be apart of a family like environment.

I have had family and family friends in this facility, I can honestly say they truly do care. From the beginning with the admissions lady to the end with social services and everyone in between. I have been in a few different facilities and none have been this clean and none have smelled this amazing. Thank you Edgewood of Wellston for the care you give.

I worked for this facility as an STNA, and I don't recommend this place to anyone. They have staffing issues, and mandations like crazy. The nurses and stnas are overworked for such little pay and bad benefits. Management didn't take into consideration the work load is to great for the amount of staffing they put on the floor. They also fired me the day I got admitted into a hospital and refused to take the doctors note. Then when I tried to talk to the don about it she said that didn't happen even though I had 2 people with me who heard me get fired. she also said she didn't have time to talk to me about it and shoed me away like a child. Also not not aloud back to visit anyone as well even if the residents keep asking me to come visit

My mom has dementia I've been trying to get a paper signed by a physician so I can cash the check for her house so I can pay the facility 8,060.00a month I'm her guardian, they gave me paperwork that says she has dementia but was not signed by the physician I've been trying to get this for almost a week.. For some reason they don't want to provide this paper, if they can't give me what I need I will have to move my mother to another facility that's willing to help me..I hate to move her but I will have no choice, because that's the only way I'm able to pay for her care

Very nice staff except for the social worker that shows one of the clients confidential information.She then tells the client she doesn't belong there. The client has one leg so why doesn't she belong there?
