Was very impressed with the quietness of the atmosphere which was soothing to me prior to my surgery. All the staff were courteous, soft spoken and very friendly. Nursing and surgical staff were completely organized and engaging with me and my family. I felt safe and secure in my treatment plan. Everyone listened to my concerns and double checked things for accuracy. Good Job everyone!

The staff were very attentive. Their performance in such a professional way, gave me a very comfortable, and positive experience. The Care Partners, transportation workers, and technicians all were very encouraging and helpful. The young man that brought my lunches was so cheerful! Everyone that I came in contact with was a part of my rewarding experience. Honestly, it's been my best hospital stay.

My experience was amazing all the staff were very kind and caring. They were professional yet passionate and cared about their patients. They kept my son updated on my progress which took a lot of stress off of him which I’m very grateful for. Should the need arise I’ll definitely come back to ECU.

Norie, was my initial nurse in the ER. She was fabulous. She displayed excellent customer service. Dr. Shawn King, Dr. Knapp, Nurse Debra and Jada were the amazing 1 south crew that took care of me. When I was sent for heart tests, Jessica, Robin, Greg and Gabby were an amazing group. The sonographer and the device check nurse were also very courteous and professional, I just don't remember their names. Overall I had a great experience. The ER wait time was awful. Especially for a heart patient that wasn't a walk-in.

I had surgery to implant a CRT-D (Cardiac pacemaker & Defibrillator) at ECU Health Medical Center last week and the hospital staff was wonderful!! Everyone from the nurses, nurse aides, physicians and the admissions staff, when you first arrive, were very professional and kind! They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable while you are at the hospital. I always know that I will have the best care at ECU Health! Thank you!
