Eavesdrop Audiology

About six months ago I needed a hearing test and was told there aren't many audiologists in my area who offer them. I was referred to Eavesdrop Audiology in Essex and have had a wonderful experience. Matthew Cross has a real depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for his work and he and his office were a great resource for navigating insurance and getting support. I highly recommend them for anyone needing this kind of care. They offer a range of services beyond tests and hearing aids, including musician's hearing care and hunters' ear protection.

Dr. Cross was very professional and knowledgeable. My new hearing aids are much better than the ones I had. They are comfortable and make me feel that I’m part of the party again!

I'm so impressed! When you walk in, the waiting area is very clean and comfortable. The receptionist is nice. He is great and was so thorough with my exam. He explained everything in a way that was easy for me to understand. He knew exactly what I needed to improve my hearing and I had them a few weeks later! He has great follow through with patients. He's a very kind and gentle guy. I'd give more stars if I could. 😊

Dr. Cross and Catherine at the front desk could not have been kinder nor more helpful. I took my friend and Dr. Cross explained everything in terms she could really comprehend. He was compassionate in explaining the impact of her hearing loss on brain function, vital to social connections. Icing on the cake was his willingness to wend through the complicated insurance she has. This visit will be life changing for her!
