Eastside Veterinary Clinic

My partner, my dog and I all really appreciate Eastside Vet! Very caring and understanding people. Every interaction I’ve had with the staff has been positive. I always feel like my dog is being well taken care of. She had a serious eye issue last winter and the vet was great about it, and about her recovery from two surgeries. Jaycie, one of the vet techs, and Dr. Murphy seem to remember my dog in detail, which is really nice given that they must see a lot of them. To me, that’s a strong sign of how much they care about their patients. My dog loves everyone who works there too, and is always comfortable in the clinic. :) highly recommend.

In 2024, I moved to Rhode Island after leaving a beloved vet clinic in Portland, OR. I was anxious to find a good veterinary practice in Providence and I’m thrilled to have found you guys. Thanks for all your help with Stevie! In addition to the care we’ve received for Stevie, we’ve leaned on Eastside for help with our ailing young cat, Bug. They were able to bring her in very short notice and perform tests before recommending we take her to Ocean State for further testing. They were very helpful in notifying the hospital and as soon as we arrived they took her right back, no waiting as is common at vet hospitals. I’m happy to report Bug has been diagnosed with Cat scratch fever and with the appropriate meds she’s back to her usual, playful kitten self.

Great vet and staff. Everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. When our pet passed away they got us a card and everyone signed it. It was incredibly special. Now they are taking great care of our new cat.

From day one with our first puppy, Dr. Murphy and her staff have been by our side! Recently, we underwent the complex process of moving our dogs overseas to Australia. As a USDA-accredited vet, Dr. Murphy was able to assist us. Veterinary care in this era must be overwhelming and exhausting. Despite the challenges I'm sure they face on a daily basis, the team at Eastside Vet handled the export process (what I can only describe as a logistical nightmare) with complete grace and professionalism. We are so grateful for them!!
