Eastgate Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

My mom was sent there for rehab, Eastgate nursing, is a fantastic place, my mom loved it there. The staff was amazing, so friendly and caring, I honestly cannot say enough about Eastgate, Autumn who helps with insurance and eligibility, is absolutely the best, she truly cares and keeps you updated and helps in anyway she can!! More nursing homes should do what they do, they are excellent, thank you Eastgate !!

My mother was a resident there starting in September while there her health declined rapidly in 3 1/2 months. It started when she got Covid and then developed aspiration pneumonia. The doctors continuously order an antibiotics without ordering a probiotic. She had multiple UTIs and then developed CDF due to the poor care and medical that she received My mother died one week after she was sent to the hospital for the third time from this awful facility. I only thank God that she was at Hope hospice in Providence. Wish she got excellent care and didn’t die in this hell hole of a nursing home do not To this place, the only good thing I have to say about this place is that the kitchen staff was accommodating To my request

No return call from the management when a concern was raised, poor infection control practices, poor personal care. Left my mom in pee from shoulders to knees with dripping wet brief, sent her to ED with stool to her ankles( according to the hospital), they threw away her clothes. The activity staff were excellent but that is where it ends.

My Mother was discharged from the hospital and went there for rehab and it seemed ok and they were taking care of her and she decided to stay and that's when everything changed she was placed in the bed in the back of the room and the curtain was closed every time we would visit ( daily ) and we completed my Mother was 95 and need assistance eat and I personally witnessed a staff worker practically Force feeder and started to choke I had to run out of the room and get a nurse for assistance after that day I complained every time I went (daily) I endured a very hostile situation with the staff because of my complaint my mother was never treated right after that day we looked for another facility immediately but couldn't find anything she was only there for 3 months and was exposed to three

I cannot say enough good things about Eastgate Nursing &Rehabilitation. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and valued. The staff are not only highly professional but also genuinely caring—they treat residents like family. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and filled with a warm-comfortable environment.
