East Valley ER & Hospital

The visit itself was amazing. We had zero issues whatsoever. Everyone was kind quick and Knowledgeable. This would be five stars however I continuously got a bill when I have dual insurance. My secondary insurance was never billed. I was assured by Adriana in the billing company multiple different times that it was billed come to find out it was not. I did reach out once again and spoke with someone named Kendra, who is absolutely amazing and was able to get it handled and billed out! Give her a raise cause she shows she cares!

I came in with multiple health complaints. I shared more than one issue and they covered all the basis. Dr. Joseph Winchell in my opinion is the best doc I have ever seen in an ER. He pulled a sit up right next to me, gave me a firm handshake, and looked in my eyes. He listened carefully. He explained things clearly. He gave me an excellent referral. The nurse was also excellent and put up with my "Chat GPT list of symptoms and such". He matched my humor and I appreciated that. I know I went in the early hours of the day (1:30am) but I was the only one there when I arrived. There were others there but you wouldn't have known kt. It was quiet, and welcoming. As a midwife who has practiced for many years and collaborates with physicians and hospital systems regularly, I unfortunately had an experience recently that I feel compelled to share because compassion and professionalism should be the absolute minimum standard of care in medicine. Late in the evening, one of my clients contacted me after she began experiencing concerning symptoms, including passing large clots and active bleeding. Earlier that same afternoon she had undergone an ultrasound that confirmed the presence of a fetal heartbeat. Given the sudden change in symptoms and the potential seriousness of the situation, I appropriately advised her to seek evaluation in the emergency department so that she could receive imaging and medical assessment to determine whether the pregnancy

This was my first experience. I did not know that these were available and I had a friend tell me about it and I went and I had the absolute best experience I will continue to come and the location I was at in Gilbert. The staff was so attentive, so kind very thorough. The room rooms and building area itself was clean and organized. They completely took care of me and made me feel it ease. It was a wonderful experience. I have been recommending it to everyone I know. So thank you to the team at the location in Gilbert

Unfortunately, I had to make an ER while visiting Phoenix and coming from CA I didn’t know what to expect. But, wow I’ve never had such a fast, positive and friendly doctors visit, ever! Nurse Darinda was amazing, spent time with me, answered questions and was the type of nurse one would hope to get when you feel like crap. Same with Dr. DeChant— he was very personable as we discussed my options and although he couldn’t help my complicated situation he took the time to provide referrals. I highly recommend this ER and if I need it again I’ll be coming back!
