We’ve been bringing our pets to East Rockaway Vets for years, and the care has always been exceptional. The entire team is consistently prepared, professional, and compassionate. Communication is clear and easy to understand. We feel truly fortunate to have found them.

I went to this vet because I had a concern for my pet, and I felt the vet office I went to prior didn’t do a very thorough checkup or diagnoses. I’m not a vet, so I knew I didn’t know any better but I was surprised I was right. My first visit was with Doctor Selkowitz for my two cats, one who I had a concern about, the other who I wanted a thorough general wellness exam on. I am so happy with what he was able to tell me, not only were they seemingly super healthy cats but he suspected maybe there was an issue that may flare up at times but is no cause for concern. 6 months later, I did a follow up visit there, with Doctor Campbell. I was sold on Doctor Selkowitz, but Doctor Campbell is also fantastic. She and the assisting (I would name her if I had her name) did an amazing job handling

Will never go anywhere else! Been a client here for over 10 yrs & recently moved & decided to try out a more local vet. The experience wasnt the *worst* thing in the world but still couldnt compare to the care i felt we were getting with Dr Rich & his team. Luckily my sidekicks enjoy the ride since we travel almost an hour to see him. Ive sent a few friends to him over the years too since they know im very picky with my own drs as well & they have all have happily switched their pets care over to him, kicking themselves for missing out & not going sooner! It's so heartwarming watching him examine & treat my boys as those they were his own dogs!! 💙

The best vet hospital you will find! Dr. Xanthos is the most compassionate, trustworthy, and caring vet. My cat was struggling with a fatal disease on the verge of death and she did not give up on her. Because of Dr. X my pet is now living happy and healthily.  All of the staff here from the vets, vet assistants, and front desk, are wonderful and super helpful. The front desk employees are always so friendly and seem like they love their jobs. I am constantly recommending East Rockaway Vet and Dr. X to my friends and family as I know they are truly in the best hands here. :)

My male dog Hemi loves going to ERVH , the staff and doctors are great they are very attentive and caring. We have been going there for 9 years. Hemi is 11 years old . We are both happy we found this place.
