The level and quality of dental care at ENFD is unmatched in my personal experience at dental offices. Each person I interacted with (Q, Casey, Dr. Nick, Kelly, and Carrie) was kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. Kelly walked me through an insurance breakdown of my appointment costs and any projected costs I might have related to my care and managed to schedule me for a cleaning the next day! Casey is by far the most diligent, detail-oriented, and efficient dental hygienist I’ve ever had and I am grateful for perfectly clean teeth and excellent maintenance instructions. If you don’t have a dentist or, in fact, if you DO have a dentist, you should strongly consider using East Nashville Family Dentistry as your dental provider. They are first rate!

The entire practice from the front desk admin staff, to the assistants, hygienists and dentists, were all friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They have up to date/state of the art equipment and clearly explained my treatment plan. It was personalized to suit my needs along with their recommendations, and provided accurate estimates of what my costs would be. To ensure I got all of my end of year benefits, they were able to fit me in for my initial exam, bridge prep & placement, and deep cleaning all within about a week. I’m also not a huge fan of dental procedures and have a fair amount of anxiety every time I have one done. The staff here made sure I was always comfortable and reassured me throughout the visit. Trust the 1 star reviews. I went back in 2021 and they told me I had 7 cavities!! I walked out the door. What they didn’t know is I had a dentist acquaintance an hours drive away. I went and saw him and he said I had 2 cavities. To this day, I still have not had 7 cavities between 2021 and now. They ruined the entire profession of dentistry for me. I now drive 1hr+ every time to see my acquaintance. Now you may be asking why I am reviewing in 2026. It’s because they find it acceptable to add me back to their texting list. I have my phone setup to keep all messages and it shows I’ve unsubscribed in the past and yet they just texted me this morning

Very happy with Dr. Spencer, Casey, and the other techs I've worked with. They've been highly effective in helping me manage dental anxiety over the past year. Updated information and added one star following phone call: Now that the misunderstanding has been cleared up, I am comparing insurance plans that will cover the cleanings I need, which are not considered routine. If I receive any new diagnoses here in future, I hope that the way they impact my file permanently will be explained more clearly so that I can advocate for myself more effectively. For other people who are getting back into going to the dentist after avoiding it for a long time due to trauma or lack of financial access or both: If you get a scaling and root planing/SRP clean once, you must get periodontal maintenance

I’m an anti-dentite usually but I finally found a place that I actually feel 100% comfortable and confident with. Even when I’m in extreme pain or need a major procedure I know I’m in good hands from the minute I walk in the door until using it the opposite direction. EVERY SINGLE PERSON there is friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. They really truly listen to you and bend over backwards to accommodate your needs and go the extra 1000 miles to MAKE SURE you are as comfortable as they can possibly make you in a typically very uncomfortable situation.
