East County Urgent Care

Wanted to leave a 5-star Yelp review for East County Urgent Care. I had made a 12 pm appointment (reservation) for Saturday, Jan.31 (for a Department of Transportation physical) via e-mail earlier during the week, and they were very cordial and responsive, which I appreciated a lot. I came in a bit early for my appointment (lots of free ample parking) and the person at the front desk was very cordial, friendly, professional, experienced, very helpful, and had me processed for the intake (filling out necessary forms, both on an iPad and paper), and then I provided a urine sample as required. The facilities are modern and up kept well. I don’t do reviews too often but this was probably honestly the best urgent care experience I’ve had in a very long time. Went in for upper respiratory infection as a walk in. Wait time was not long at all, every employee I communicated with was very kind and professional. I really appreciate when they make you feel comfortable and are easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend them. Great service!

The front desk staff, especially Anna and another lady at the front desk, were kind, professional, and helpful. I truly appreciate their attitude and customer service. However, my experience with Garcia K was extremely frustrating. I came in for a back injury that is affecting my ability to perform my job properly. Despite explaining my condition, she stated that I am fit to work and “fine,” which does not reflect how I am actually feeling or functioning. Her evaluation felt dismissive and not thorough. The report provided was unclear and did not seem meaningful or detailed. It left me feeling unheard and unsupported. This has been one of the worst medical experiences I’ve had so far. I feel that my time and money were wasted, and I do not plan on returning.

Went in because of ankle pain. I got there at 8:30am on a Wednesday and had a very short wait. I believe the doctor I saw was Kaylee Garcia. She was so professional and kind, explaining everything to me. She had ordered knee and ankle x-rays. The x-ray machine was temporarily malfunctioning but they got it working within a half hour. Everyone was so kind and patient with this 74 yr. old woman. I highly recommend them.

My son has been seen at East County Urgent Care several times, and every single visit has been outstanding. The level of care here is truly the best of the best. The staff is professional, compassionate, and attentive, making us feel reassured every step of the way. A special shout-out to Hector. He goes above and beyond and is absolutely awesome! We are so grateful to have a place we can trust with our family’s health.
