East Coast Hearing and Balance

CAUTION! Although a very professional and pleasant office, the end result is a rip off! I made an appointment with East Coast Hearing and Balance after being pressured to get hearing aids by my wife. I, therefore, skipped a step that I usually take: doing my homework! Although the audiologist and staff members were very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, they waltzed me into signing a contract for ReSound hearing aids and custom made ear fittings. Total cost? Just a shade under $7500. Unfortunately, I went through with the sale without adequate consideration or research. Once I picked up the hearing aid and ear fittings, I found that the sound that I was getting was not very good. It was at this point that I did what I should’ve done from the beginning. We can’t say enough good things about the Leland office- Dr Erin Douglas and their entire staff. Very knowledgeable. They take time to listen to all concerns and then work to alleviate any issues. It’s a very comfortable environment where you are made to feel that your thoughts and needs are important to them. They’re the best!

This office is great! I was in town visiting family and had a hearing aid emergency. They were able to see me the same day I called in. Dr. Douglas was very friendly and thorough. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for quality care.

East Coast does a wonderful job at identifying your hearing loss and prescribing the proper hearing aid for you. The doctor and the staff are very professional and well qualified. I highly recommend them.
