East Beach Urgent Care

My visit was on 12/21/2025. My first time. I highly recommend this place because of the type of respect and comfort given by Asia at the front desk when I arrived. The high level of customer service continued as Matthew assisted me in the examination room, ensuring that all of my questions and concerns were met before meeting the nurse practitioner (NP). Please make sure you ask for Ashley Moore (the NP) to assist you with your medical needs as she sincerely listens to you and develops a treatment plan that you can follow. Thank you for your excellent service and for making East Beach Urgent Care a great place to visit when one isn't feeling well.

I had been sick with heavy chest congestion, cough and low grade fever for 10 days. At the urging of family I finally decided to go to East Beach Urgent Care. Upon check in I was told that it was at least a 3 hour wait. I could wait in my car or go home (I live very close) and they would call me when it was my turn. I told the receptionist that I would wait at home. She said once we call, you have 10 minutes to return. After a few hours I received a call saying they had a room ready for me. I told her I would be there in 7 minutes, she said that was fine. I made it back in 6 minutes, where I was told to have a seat. I then waited another 45 minutes before being called to the back. This used to be our go to spot for urgent care. We have been going since they opened. After our experience today we won’t be back. The doctor and nurse have ZERO bedside manner. I was actually shocked because I had always had exceptional experiences. You lost 5 patients today.

I came with my 1‑year‑old son who needed quick attention for an eye infection. Their website clearly states that walk-ins are accepted and that they are open until 7pm. We arrived at 5:14pm and found a paper sign on the door saying they no longer take walk-ins after 5pm. This information is not mentioned anywhere online, which is very frustrating when you drive over with a sick toddler. Inside, I was told they only had one provider today and therefore stopped accepting walk-ins after 5pm. While I understand staffing limitations can happen, this should be communicated clearly on the website or Google listing. Came here for a simple PPD test and somehow ended up wasting my time on multiple trips and still never got the results I paid my copay for. I returned within the required window and they were closed early with no notice and no update, just locked doors. After that, every staff member told me something different. Total confusion. I emailed the manager hoping for an actual solution, and their response was basically: “Just come back again.” Because after already coming three times, of course I should want a fourth trip. And since a PPD requires two visits, I would have ended up making a fifth trip because of their mistakes. Absolutely not.
