I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth removed today. I made an appointment on November 20th, sent the referral and X-rays from my dentist and provided my insurance information. I called on the 30th and 31st to confirm the time and see if there was any pre op information I needed to be aware of and no one answered or returned my call. I was concerned when I didn’t receive an appointment confirmation before the New Year’s Day holiday, so yesterday I sent a message to the after hours chat. We just returned from Dr. Tarver's office after a very disappointing experience. When I made the appointment several months ago, they indicated that they could remove my daughter's wisdom teeth during the initial appointment (no separate consultation appointment required) which I found odd so I insisted on scheduling a separate consultation appointment. I specifically scheduled it for the Friday of winter break to ensure she wouldn't miss school, and I tailored our vacation plans to accommodate the Friday appointment.
