Dyslexia Institute

Our daughter has had a wonderful experience with The Reading Center/Dyslexia Institute. Everyone on staff has been so kind and helpful. The tutor she worked with has become a friend and we are so grateful for their help!

The wife and I drove all the way from the cities with out son who has dyslexia and ADHD. He had a interview to be placed with a tutor up near us. After out visit we chatted with the lady who interviewed him for assessment. Said the 1 out of 2 children with dyslexia has ADHD. So we scheduled as planned a tutor in Prior lake (still a 40 drive for us). Visit supposedly went well. The tutor was asking at 11pm.... about when to schedule his next appointment. With in 12 hours we received a phone call about how they can not help us and said our son is too much? Also are only refunding half of our money. This place is a joke. They didn't even try and wasted our time. I would not waste one minute even thinking about paying a cent to these cons. Hope this helps the next person.

If your child has a reading disability like dyslexia or is just slow to take on with reading, let the experts help. I wasn’t sure this is what my son needed. However, after only a few months attending he started reading signs, then a menu when eating out, next he made a few Christmas cards. His self confidence started to come back and he was no longer “dumb”, but a “different” type of learner. He now will read books and when he makes a mistake, we can all laugh. Before, it would have embarrassed him and even caused tears. It’s the single best thing we did for our son. He is now in 6th grade and has made huge strides. We are so appreciative to the wonderful staff and teachers at the reading center.

Because of the Reading Center, my girls can read and spell. Made a huge difference in their lives. Free screenings available for young students. Evaluations available for 2nd grade on up.

The tutors here are phenomenal. I have 2 sons with dyslexia. The staff is friendly and wanting to help.
