Dyersburg Pediatric Dentistry

Ive been coming to this clinic for many years with both my children, and now bring my granddaughter. Ive always felt they rushed people n and out because the more they see the more money they get. Today was one of the worst experiences!! We was an hour early to our appointment. Got her back put her n a seat and started her on the oxygen (gas nose). 3 seconds later Dr. Mel came over and started the gas. The assistant had not even put the gel on her gums and the Dr started injecting. Of course that hurt so my granddaughter was screaming. I said yall didnt put the gel on her gums. Dr Mel says well ive done started we gonna keep on. I said naw we need to stop but she would not. My granddaughter told her she could still feel it, but I guess Dr Mel can feel what my granddaughter feels!!! So she

I have been bringing my grandchildren here for nearly 2 years and they absolutely look forward to their visits. The staff is so kind from the front desk to the dentist. The activities in the waiting area are a wonderful way to occupy your wait time and make your visit less stressful and exciting 😀

It isn’t awful. The waiting area is nice. I had to wait over 6 months for my child’s cavities to be dealt with. However, once we got to the appointment, they said they would have to try again in 2 weeks because my son didn’t respond to the medication that’s supposed to keep him calm. 2 weeks later and they tell me to go somewhere else and write down that my son has “bad behavior”. He is 3. He did not behave badly, he was scared and the medicine they gave him didn’t do anything to keep him calm.

I loved that place and my children too, highly recommended, the doctors and nurses are very kind, God bless them.

No Stars!All my children have been going to the dentist as soon as that had teeth in their mouth and all of a sudden my son missed an appointment 2 the first one I called to reschedule and this one I got the days mixed up! They told me that I couldn’t bring him back there because of 2 missed appointments in a year. Somebody make this make sense!! So people don’t have real life things going on in their life and not allowed to miss any appointments!! Like it’s the kids fault they didn’t make it to their appointment!!! So punish the kid huh?? I politely called them and told them to take the rest of my children off as well!!! This doesn’t make sense at all to me!!
