Dutchess County Dental

After researching a lot of dental offices in the area, my fiancé and I went to Dutchess County Dental today and were very appreciative of the care provided. The hygienist, Ester, was fantastic and even came by at my fiancé's request to go over what care they were suggesting for him and expected costs. Everyone was very professional and concise in their explanations of what was being done and made sure to ask if we had questions between every step of the process.

I would not recommend this practice to anyone. The staff are unprofessional, and the entire experience feels like a money grab. They repeatedly cancel appointments at the last minute, causing constant inconvenience. This has happened more than three times, to the point that I went an entire year without getting my teeth cleaned because of their cancellations. They also consistently try to find additional “problems” with your teeth or gums to get you to spend more money out of pocket. Before you even complete one treatment, they push you into another. For example, I was told I needed scaling, which I agreed to. Before that treatment was even completed, I was told I needed medication for my gums that required an out-of-pocket payment. Still waiting. Family of 5, 4 of us have been here for more then a year and I am currently looking for a new dentist. I am still waiting to hear from a Dentist regarding my son, I have been waiting for about 3 months. I feel like this place is only in it for the insurance payments. My one son, was told had 8 cavities. Made appointments and he had them filled 6 weeks later they called and told me he needed an appointment to have the remaining cavities filled. So, the math isn't working there. My other son had an appointment and the dentist never spoke to me and neither did the hygienist. They take xrays EVERY time. Had a dental emergency and walked in and was able to be seen that same day. I have since had all my dental work done here and every single person I have worked with has been amazing. From the warm and professional greeting at reception to the professionalism of all the staff in the back I have worked with, I would highly recommend.

I've been to many dental offices for many different reasons but this one is by far in experience and service superior. All staff from the beginning of the appointment were dedicated professionals and I am excited ro have a phenomenal result! The hygienist is probably the best I've had thusfar. Super knowledgeable and the care not just service was second to none. A must visit.
