Dushore Pharmacy

Our pharmacy since moving to Sullivan County in 2015. Pharm is 16 miles away but I worked in Bradford County and went past frequently. Switched jobs 2 yrs ago and rarely went into Dushore and had been debating on whether or not to transfer to a pharmacy near work but continued because we had a good relationship with them over the years. Until today that is. Rude dolt that had trouble forming complete sentences answered the phone and I asked him about medication availability. He put me on hold three times without even telling me he was going to do it. I guess he had no clue on how to answer me and had to ask the other staff, but he just pressed the hold button without asking me to please hold etc...then after he gets back on the phone, he tells me my meds are on back order. I just found out that I had COVID. Doctor prescribed Plaxlovid. They didn't say any specific instructions on how to get my medicine. So I put on my mask. Washed my hands with disinfectant. Went in with my mask and everything on. They kicked me out of the store. Made me wait outside like I was a animal or something. I have done business with there sister store in Laceyville for the last 25 years. Needless to say. That ends today forever

I called today to find out actual expiration dates of the medications my disabled, elderly mother takes. I initially asked what each of the 4 dates meant on the bottle, and if they were synonymous with the "discard by" dates provided by other pharmacies. I was told everything but what I asked, and was told by the clerk (tech?) after trying to clarify my question multiple times, "I don't have time for this." I then asked to speak to a pharmacist who was not only condescending, but told me my elderly mother's co-pay was only $_____. I surely didn't ask to have anyone judge the frugally of my elderly mother's co-pay, and find it wildly inappropriate that you insinuate that this small amount should be an issue. I recently moved to Dushore, March of 2023, and have been absolutely blown away by how wonderful this pharmacy is! Having come from an area that only had the big name pharmacies (Rite Aid, CVS, Walmart), the customer service, attention to detail, and personal attention given by the staff is incredible!

This place is wonderful. The staff truly help you and make sure you have what you need at a reasonable cost. My insurance company was trying to screw me, and the pharmacist argued with them until they got it right.
