I brought my pug, Reese’s Peanut Buttercup, in after a very difficult experience at Animal Emergency Hospital of Volusia in Ormond Beach, and the difference in care was unbelievable. Reese had just come out of surgery and was still in the healing process, but she’s getting stronger every day thanks to the incredible team here. Dr. Hugh is truly exceptional, professional, compassionate, and deeply attentive to all my questions. He treated Reese as if she were his own, and his calm confidence gave me so much peace during a stressful time. Carly was equally wonderful. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care made the visit feel supportive and reassuring. Dr Hugh and his staff are top notch! Super friendly and most the compassionate staff we have ever experienced in our decades of pet ownership. They have treated Mr Taz several times for various reasons and everytime we've received incredible service! I can't not thank you enough for helping Mr. Taz feel better whenever he is under the weather. Thank you Dr. Hugh and staff for everything y'all do for our furry/feathered/etc family!

Dr. Hugh has been our vet for a few years now for both our dogs and our cats and everything about his service as a doctor and the office itself is incredible. Kind vet techs who know what they are doing and give our babies such care while also being quick. Dr Hugh has never recommended or tried to push a service that we don’t need or ask for. Durbin Creek’s pricing on dental cleaning and extraction services is particularly incredible. We will continue to be patients here as long as the hospital is open and Dr Hugh is working. There is no provider I trust more for my pets than Durbin Creek Animal Hospital.

Dr Hugh was very good with Max our puppy. I also really appreciated the nurse and the receptionist. Everyone was so informative and kind! Would highly recommend..

Everyone at this practice is great. They did an amazing job on my puppy's spay. I had to reschedule her original surgery date due to a personal medical emergency and they were very understanding.
