The PA was dismissive as it was shortly before closing time. With the amount of bruising and soft tissue swelling I had, he was not able to give me anything for pain because “patient first won’t allow it because I am prescribed lorazepam.” I was in tears from the pain. I am a registered nurse and have colleagues that work for patient first, and I know that is not an actual policy so I will be following up with the appropriate channels. He told me to alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I am on long term anticoagulants and can’t even take NSAIDS...I should not have to tell the PA that. I also work on my feet for 12 hours at a time and have to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to my condo. I am very upset about the lack of compassion and service I received there. Neither me nor my two children
