Dunwoody Nursing Homes

This is my mother while she was at this place.I left her at this rehab rehabilitation center. She was walking and talking within 6 months she stopped. She was in mobile so she had to sit in a wheelchair. For some reason they kept letting her fall asleep in the dining room. I tried to question her roommate, but she told me that she was scared to say something because she didn’t want them to mistreat them. She also told me that the nurses were stealing my mother stuff, giving it to other people on the day. My mother went into cardiac arrest. They asked me did I want her to be resuscitated No telling how long she was staying there. Once she passed, I asked the nursing home for her medical records because I know that she had to go to the hospital several times for falling and it’s been a year

Horrible place to stay to get physical therapy...I wouldn't leave my pet there...they have changed their name several times for example I was told it was Dunwoody health and rehab and when I went to look at the reviews it said 5 stars and then being in Dunwoody I thought it must be good! Don't let them fool you their address is 5470 Meridian Mark Rd, Atlanta, GA 30342 and they were going by the name Golden Living Center which has horrible reviews and they have changed their name several times! If I would have known that I promise you I would have not stepped a foot there! Upon arriving the night shift is very unprofessional,rude,uncaring and lazy! 1st day they say they have only 1 oxygen machine working and it's beeping really loud like piercing loud and to just use that because it's worki

Horrible facility the staff does care.. I came to see my sister & she is soiled and had GNATS flying on her. Her bed is broken and it smells if if they mop the hallways with urine. This is unacceptable, heartbreaking & DIGUSTING IF I COULD GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!

I recently had a family member stay here for about 3 weeks for rehabilitation and dialysis. While the overall facility was decent for a short stay, the communication with staff was appalling. You always get the "that's not my job" Response. transfer to different departments. You leave messages and not one message is responded to. When you get to the facility and then try to address the concerns and the information that you had wanted over the phone. Nobody knows what you're talking about. And it's as if you wasted your time calling in the first place. Things don't happen in a timely manner and especially if you're staying for a limited amount of time. How do I write a review for someone who has no choice but to be in a place, due to medical reasons, who is well aware will not be celebrating Christmas with us this year. How do I make it clear to anyone considering this facility. Reconsider the choice to stay in a facility that knowingly is aware this someone is dying soon and this facility is where that end of your life will take place, is clearly not capable to provide care even the lowest level of care for an animal suffering. This beautiful individual wants to warn the whole world to not go through what she is having to endure in a disgusting uncaring, excepting a few employees, poor excuse of a filthy, horrible food, like it looks bad bad except for a few meals.
