I have been to many Duke locations and seen many different doctors, and Dr. Woodbridge has to be the most condescending, rude, and downright awful person I’ve encountered. If it was one incident, I’d assume he had an off day but this is every encounter with him. After being a patient for almost 2 years, I will be gladly traveling into Raleigh for a primary provider that doesn’t question my health history, decisions made with other providers, or make outrageously racist and sexist comments in front of and to me.

Cannot rate how the doctors or internal staff are because I did not get a chance to actually see or interact with them. However, the lady I BRIEFLY spoke to on the phone (after instantly placing me on hold for 5 minutes) was extremely rude. I called looking to schedule a new patient appointment with one of the doctors, as my new insurance showed that several of them accepted it and were accepting new patients. The woman abruptly told me no one was seeing new patients and hung up on me before I could ask any further questions. I suppose I will go else where. She was very rude and should maybe take a course on manners.

I called today to schedule an appointment for Flu complications. I was diagnosed 5 days earlier and was told to seek further medical care if I developed chest pains or shortness of breath. I was told it would be a week before they could see me even though their web site plainly states, "Same day appointments for acute conditions such as urinary tract infections, sore throats and skin infections are available." I explained the situation and was told there was nothing they could do and they told me to visit their Urgent Care 50 miles away. I chose to pay out of network to avoid the 50 minute drive due to the shortness of breath. Thankfully there are some doctors who actually care about the patient and are willing to work immediate need patients in. Turns out I had developed pneumonia on top

My mom called to see about making a new patient lab appointment and spoke with a girl named Danielle. She cut my mother off in the middle of her sentence and had a rather ill tone. She needs customer service training or a new job that doesn’t involve handling sick people.

Dr. Fakadej, along with Tammy and Kia in the front office are outstanding people to work with concerning your healthcare. They have made recommendations in my family that have proven to be the best health care facilities for one to go to for test and treatments.
