Duke Animal Clinic

I recently took my dog in for a checkup at this animal hospital and had a pretty solid experience overall. The front desk staff were polite and got us checked in without much wait. The vet took time to explain what was going on and answered my questions in a way that made sense, which I appreciated. The exam room was clean and didn’t have that overwhelming smell some clinics have. Pricing seemed fair for the services provided. I did feel a little rushed at the end, but everything important was covered. Overall, I’d feel comfortable bringing my pets back here again.

I brought Sasquatch, my 15 (almost 16) year old bassett hound mix to Duke Animal Clinic. He was My best friend. He had been breathing heavy and seemed to be in pain. Dr. Gamble did blood work etc. She determined he had pancreatitis. She said everything else showed up fine. He did appear to be developing some issues from his heavy breathing but that it wasn't to concerning at that time. She sent him home with 2 different antibiotics and steriods. No pain meds to help him with his pain. I had no understanding what to expect. He didnt seem to be getting better. I decided to try dog asprin, had him on it for 2 days when I researched and found that it could be bad. He was still in alot of pain and discomfort. They took him back in, giving me the impression it was due to me giving him asprin. T

Dr. Duke & his staff have been caring for my hairy children since 2021, post pandemic. I have nothing but praise for the good folks. His experience with all types of animals have me sold on his knowledge & expertise. They helped me thru losing my Emmy & my Freddie loves going to see his friends there. I highly recommend Dr. Duke and his staff for anything you need for your pets.

Dr Duke is a wonderful veterinarian! Our dog had to undergo extensive teeth cleaning and repairitive procedures. Dr Duke's care, compassion and skill are extraordinary! Many thanks to him and his wonderful staff. I highly recommend him!
