Dr. Steve at Dubuque Pediatric Dentistry is truly a gem! He has been taking care of both my daughters since they were toddlers, and we couldn’t ask for a better pediatric dentist. From the very first visit, he has made them feel completely at ease with his kind, caring, and professional demeanor. What sets Dr. Steve apart is the way he genuinely connects with kids. There are usually a couple kids here at a time receiving care, but Dr. Steve and the whole team make an effort to become fully invested with each patient. Dr. Steve connects with the kids, asks them questions and (for those old enough to understand) does a great job of explaining to them what is happening without it sounding too daunting. Our son exclaimed after we left the dentist, "Dr. Steve is my best friend." It's that's not a ringing endorsement for a pediatric dentist, I don't know what it.

I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and Dr Steve and his entire staff are incredible with them. They are patient, kind and are very “age appropriate” with how they handle the interactions with my kids individually. I 100% recommend them to anyone!

They've been able to schedule all 4 of my kids for back to back appointments, several times, and are always so nice and courteous! My oldest deals with sensory issues, but has always had a positive experience here! None of my kids have ever been scared or upset by their visits. So glad to have them get their dental work done by such a great dentist and staff!
