Du Bois Nursing Home

Father's Day car show was very good, as usual. Many very nice cars, trucks and motorcycles on display. Seemed like a good turnout of spectators also. The wagon rides were well used throughout the event with special accommodations for guests and residents with handicaps being especially helpful. Kudos to all who helped in any way to make this annual event a success once again.

First time at facility was not impressed with the memory care center ! Rooms had a lot to be desired, (staff was friendly) but wasn’t pleased with care of the ward itself needed new furniture badly! Patient’s room where very tight and in need of paint ! Certainly did not leave me with a good impression or recommendation for families looking for the care of their loved ones! But the staff seemed very nice and attentive to my moms needs! I just wasn’t pleased with the environment of the ward itself!!!

Took excellent care of our great grandmother in her later years when we no longer could...including her last days. They were excellent. Very kind, caring, and made sure she was looked after. The nurses and aids are wonderful there. Thank you so much.

My mom has been here since August 13th. She has improved 110%. She's 90 years old. She broke her hip about 6 weeks ago. After surgery and being hospitalized she came here. She's been very happy and loves her people. They have gone above and beyond for her. She's heading home soon. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.

My father ended up at Dubois Nursing Home the beginning of last year for three month. Although,they were short staffed, I feel that my father was well taken care of while there. He was on the second floor which was renovated. Some of the other floors were a little gloomy and depressing. It was easy to get there and only a short drive from clearfield. God bless the CNA's and RNs that chose elder care as their profession. Its takes a special person to care for our family members.
