Dr.Mohammed A Muqeem

My mother in law started seeing this doctor a few weeks ago, recommended by her plan and this is the worst, most unprofessional doctor’s office that I’ve ever heard of. The referral clerk is so rude and unprofessional, lies on the patients and then tells the doctor these lies and he proceeds to threaten his patients. She was told by the doctor himself that if she complained again that she would have to find a new doctor because they are a “small practice”. She was told that she would be thrown out of the clinic and that she should find a place with 20 doctors and nurses because maybe this was not for her. All of this because she called to ask about a referral that she’s waited for 2 weeks to receive. Also reporting them to the BBB. Horrible service, if your plan recommends them, just run.

I tried to make an appointment as a new patient this morning (August 22, 2025) around 10:22 AM, but I first wanted to make sure that the next available appointment was soon enough for me before booking it, so when the receptionist answered the phone I greeted her and then asked when the next available appointment for new patients would be. The receptionist told me that I had to first fill out paperwork, send it in, then call back to find out when the next available appointment is....that is ASININE. Other DRs I inquired with had no problem disclosing their next available appointment and all they had to do was confirm that they were in network with my insurance. I go see Dr. maqeem in Orlando and I absolutely love his stuff. I don’t think I ever met his wife. I’ve seen her very beautiful and him he listens he explains. He’s very straightforward to the point and that’s what I like when I actually go back to see him. I’m actually gonna see if he takes teenagers because he’s absolutely amazing. I have nothing bad to say about him and I’ve been seeing him for about a year. He’s always happy, always laughing very knowledgeable and he gets down to the point of what’s wrong with you. When people need refills they take forever as like if someone life’ don’t depend on there medication …. They make you wait the next day then when you call they say oh well we will get to it , sometimes they even forget to send it , than you look crazy by calling them 5x trying to get your refills ..
