I will be 83 years of age in October, 2024. I was horrified to learn several years ago that I had macular degeneration in both eyes; dry in left, wet in right. I have had eye problems since I was 3 years old and my greatest terror has Always been going blind. When I learned of the macular degeneration & that the treatment for the wet one was an INJECTION in the right eye every 6 weeks or so, I lost hope, as well as the fright intensified. It was truly a blessing to find Dr. Bawcombe at Sebia Eye Institute. In addition to being a brilliant opthalmologist, he is kind, gentle, patient and reassuring.
