Dr. Boyd's Veterinary Resort

We adopted our first dog a few months ago and brought them to Dr. Boyd’s as the primary vet based on a recommendation from a close friend. Because it’s my first dog, and my first vet, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, and didn’t have anything to compare them against. What I do know, though, is that everyone at Dr. Boyd’s treats my dog as if they were their own pet. They are incredibly caring and kind. The front desk staff, whenever I call them, is able to answer my questions and concerns immediately. Dr. Wesson absolutely knows what’s he’s doing, and we get the impression we’re getting top quality care. We use them as our pet’s Primary Care Provider and have also used their boarding services, and we’ve been happy with both. When the time comes for us to get another pet, we’ll bring

Dr. Boyds is above and beyond any experience or expectation for vet care. Everyone that works there truly is passionate about animals. Every question is answered, no upsells or guilt trips, you never feel rushed or overbearing, appointments are thorough and honestly a really pleasant experience. I’m so thankful for the entire staff at Dr. Boyds! Thank you for taking the time to heal and understand our pets.

Absolutely a FANTASTIC faciltiy....HIGHLY recommended!! Cody LOVES the Doggie Day Care and gets excited when he sees the building!! The entire staff is warm, pleasant and welcoming. Our pets are basically extensions of our family and we want/need them cared for in our absence. Dr Boyds exceeds my expectations and I feel very comfortable leaving Cody in their hands. A very cool feature is the "livestream" where you can log into their website and keep an eye on your pet!! Thanks to the entire team for taking care of Cody when I am at work!

we've taken two of our dogs here. One in other places needed a muzzle and calming meds...they took the muzzle off and like a dog whisperer our dog followed them willingly and happily. truly amazing. the other passed away in March 2025 at 17 years old..every time we bought her there they were nothing but kind, caring, amazing. i recommend 100000000000% these are the real dog whisperers.

I am extremely disappointed with this office. My family has been bringing my mom’s dog here for over 7 years, so we are not new patients. We took her in on Saturday for an X-ray, blood work, and a general checkup. We were told that same day that she has fluid in her heart and lungs and that this is a critical condition. The doctor said that by Monday or Tuesday the test results would be back and that they would call me immediately so she could start medication right away. It is now days later, and despite calling every single day, I get the same response from the front desk: “The doctor will call you soon.” No call. No update. No urgency. I paid $999.00 for this visit (not including medication, if they ever call me to pick it up), yet my mom’s dog could literally die while we are waiting.
