Downey Urgent Care

Took my mom to be seen by a doctor and we weren't even greeted kindly. The person just asked my mom for her insurance and then proceeded to recommend a different location because the doctor was leaving early. She was very rude. People are seeking medical assistance because they're obviously not feeling well, why not greet them warmly with a smile? I didn't catch that lady's name, but I will never go there again. I don't even want to give this location one star. ZERO STARS.

This place is less than a block from where I live. Yet I've never been seen here. I've tried to use this location 3 times in the last year. The first time when I asked for help from someone inside, I was treated like I was bothering them, as if helping me was the last thing they ever wanted to do, so I left. The other two times I never made it inside because this place has the stupidest business hours I have ever seen for an "urgent" care.

Don't come here. Save your time and go anywhere else. I was surprised by the early availability, and now I know why. I came in, told about my issues falling and my weight fluctuating rather extremely, and i was dismissed rather nonchalantly. Told I "needed to sleep less and do more" after saying that even over the counter sleep medication isn't working. Had nothing to say about my weight fluctuating. But the thing that will never have me comeback is after I was told to come in for a physical and never had any bloodwork done. With that should be some form of blood test and preparation. I was given a lab test order that THEY COULDN'T EVEN SCHEDULE ONE. If I'm coming in the morningn for a physical, I'm expecting blood work. If they can't schedule it. That's fine. TELL ME and I can schedule

Horrible experience! I called and was told to come in. I showed up, filled out the paperwork and was then told it would be $90 cash, and they would not accept credit card or debit card. Quite upset, I left. I called Blue Shield of California who informed me that this is highly unusual. This issue has been escalated since they have an active contract at Blue Shield of California. I hope this issue is address by the escalation team and that their contract is reviewed and they are held to account.

Best Dr I have ever seen Dr Iskarous was just wonderful she is smart professional but most of all she cares about people her staff is wonderful aswell, glad I found her, I am going to make her my regular doctor. She is one of a kind
