Downey Community Health Center

I’m happy to be at downey community health center because they give good care. The staff provide great service and attention. All of the CNAs are great, including Mercedes, LVN Melissa, RN Vanessa, and Erica who is helpful.

I recently visited Downey Community Health Care Center , and I was so impressed with social worker Tania Sanchez. Ms. Sanchez was working alone and was clearly very busy. She took the time to assist me with my clients and answered all my questions. Ms. Sanchez has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and has a level of commitment to the patients unmatched. When I arrived, I felt alone, lost in a strange place. But little by little, as I got to know the nurses and every member of this great family, I discovered a home where I never imagined finding one. The staff here is just wonderful! They are kind, courteous, caring, loving, & showed so much patience! They made sure I had everything I needed & then some. When I was feeling down on myself, not being able to care for myself, they encouraged me & let me know it was OK. All my concerns & needs were met! 🤗 The food here is delicious & nice size portions are given for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Coffee r tea is served with every meal. The facility is clean & neat. My favorite activities was arts & craft & jewellery making. Most of my socializing/interaction with the other patients was in physical therapy.
