I've been going to Advanced Eye Care in the Old Capitol Mall for a few years now. Dr. Stalzer has always been very nice to work with. She makes a point to answer all of my questions on a level that is easy to understand. She makes a point to talk to me about both the contacts I use and my glasses each time I have an appointment. They have the option to have pictures of your inner eye taken rather than having to have your eyes dilate which is a huge plus!. They tend to have a lot of turn over in the people who work the reception desk, but they seem to be college students, so that is completely understandable. Dr. Hand is very thorough with the exam and offers the best treatment for his patients. Advanced Eye Care has a wide selection of frames. The staff is equipped in helping to select the perfect frame that fits your face.

I have been going to see Dr Hand for five plus years. I am a contact wearer and he provides exceptional care tailored to my contact use as I grow older. ie The equipement they have at Advanced Eyecare is sophisticated compared to many other Drs I have seen in the past, no more dialated eyes!

Granted I did change eye doctors. But I wasn't a fan of how they handled my eye care. It seemed to me they didn't do a contact exam, the dr basically just chose another brand of contacts for me without making sure it would fit in budget. They dilated my eyes and after trying on a new pair of contacts, they contact felt a little funny. After having contacts for over 10 years, I know when a contact is a problem, but she wouldn't take my word on it. You can try this place, but after I finish my care here, I don't plan to ever come back to this place again.

State-of-the-art equipment on site, and Dr. Hand is very friendly and informative.
