In high school, I went to Dr. Donna Galante because I was having lockjaw (bad TMJ), and she advised me that I was a good candidate for Invisalign. She initially said it would take a little over a year but ended up lasting 3 years. She seemed super hands-off and seemed to rely on the Invisalign system so I just tried to just trust the process. ON MY LAST VISIT--(didn't know it was my last) she told me I was finished. I was a bit confused and told her I still couldn't bite down correctly. And she said well unfortunately that's the best we could do and walked away. I didn't really know what to do since I was 19 and by myself so I just accepted it.
