Domenick Calise

Dr. Calise is an exceptional physician. From the very beginning, he took the time to explain my father’s surgery in a way I could understand and ensured I was comfortable every step of the way. He welcomed questions and never rushed our conversations. He amputated only what was medically necessary, which speaks volumes about his ethics and dedication to patient care. Dr. Calise clearly puts his patients’ well-being first. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone facing amputation or anyone looking for a doctor who will always do what’s right for the patient.

March of 2024 I had a serious injury. Broke all of my metatarsal bones andq 4 ribs. Dr. Calise was on call. He was on the spot as they finished x-rays and MRI. He ordered emergency surgery due to compartment syndrome. The minute I met him I knew from his confident demeanor that I was blessed. He saved my foot when most doctors would have amputated. Post surgery care with him and his team was the best. I completed wound care in Oklahoma. The nurses in that hospital could hardly believe I still had my foot and called in other doctors and nurses to check out the "miracle" Dr. Calise and his team performed. I won't win a foot modeling contest. But I have my foot and it is fully functional. Not even a limp.

Dr. Calise is a great doctor and quite frankly an expert in his field. Don’t be fooled by the podiatrist part like I initially was, he did a skin graft for a wound on my mother’s leg and helped save her leg! I highly recommend him and appreciate his knowledge and bedside manner!

This guy told me I was delusional in front of my wife and my infant son for not letting him cut off my toe and told me he won’t waste anymore time with me in a loud angry voice and stormed out of the room. I also saw him one time previously and he was a complete jerk that time as well and he yelled at me that time too. I ended up going to a different doctor to amputate my toe because this man is a horrible human being with no compassion. A couple staff members told me he treats them horrible too and his nickname among the staff is the butcher.

I took a patient to this doctors office today from a skilled nursing center… This doctor has very bad bed side manners he’s very rude..And most importantly he does not listen to patients or explain the patients status some if not all patients leave confused! If you could rate without giving the numbers available he would be rated a zero in my opinion Dr Calise 🙁
