In September 2024 I joined the metabolic wellness group and started learning how to heal my body instead of just trying to lose weight. The first few months were slow but then something in my body shifted and I started losing weight without dieting. I continue to implement what I learned in the group and in 1 year I’ve lost 29 lbs and 9 inches in my waist! 16 of the 29 lbs was lost in the last 3 months. Again, I’m not dieting just making better choices and changing my habits. I did the work to heal my metabolic blockers and now I’m reaping the benefits! Thank you so much for teaching me the skills I need to be healthy!

I love the casual and non-clinical vibe. Dr. Potter is great. I especially like that she works with me to avoid medications, which I have avoided for 74 years. I would like to keep it that way!

Dr. Potter is very knowledgeable and up-to-date on the most recent Medical Studies And info. I love her holistic approach to medicine instead of just writing prescriptions!

I wanted a doctor who would listen to my concerns and would be willing to talk with me about checking things I felt needed to be checked. Dogwood wellness has been a great experience. They have helped me understand more about my health and how I can work to improve it. Sometimes that means medication and sometimes not. They are personable and available to chat when I need them. Dr. Potter has her MD, but practices as natural as possible ❤️ BEST of both worlds. She also allows you to text the office number and they get back to you in a very timely manner, usually within a couple hrs. Dr. Potter is treating my hypothyroid by testing much more than any other doctor I've seen. She prescribes levothyroxine, tm and other options. She also helped me figure out why I have hypothyroid, I'm really hoping to get off medication as soon as possible, don't know if that will be possible or not yet. She had a great netural protocol for covid, she is a very good listener, she takes notes, and takes the time to respond to whatever it is you're dealing with.
