Doane's Valley Pharmacy

Visiting Cashmere and saw the Soda Fountain sign for the pharmacy. We went in early afternoon and there were three cashiers and 4 people behind the pharmacy counter. There were several drinks, phones and paperwork on the fountain counter. We stood there for 7 minutes as two separate employees walked by us and didn't even speak to us. Eventually a young girl came over and said that the counter is closed for a bit. I said, a bit - 5 minutes, 5 hours? She said for the day. We had planned on getting shakes and shopping and were totally turned off by the lack of service and out right ignoring. Do not recommend.

Such a great little gift shop! Last minute gifts and greeting cards and wrapping paper and the friendliest service! Oh yeah, it’s also a pharmacy!

Seems like a nice establishment, but we came here specifically to have some phosphate drinks (a sour mix of phosphoric acid plus magnesium with soda) which they advertise and claim they have. However, these are not phosphates as they use citric acid. Also, been here in the past when it was a classic 50’s era soda fountain, now it’s a Pepsi dispenser.

Called to ask if they could fill my prescription. Woman asks if I’m an existing customer. I said NO. Woman on the phone says yes we can fill your prescription DESPITE not being an existing customer. I inform my doctor to move my prescription to them. Then my doctor calls them to send my prescription. Pharmacy tells my Doctor they won’t fill my prescription because I’m not an existing customer. This place disrespects everyone’s time so I have to say avoid them even though I live locally. I would have switched my prescriptions over if they would respect everyone’s time. But instead Im compelled to leave a negative review.

Best place in cashmere for as long as I can remember The Doane’s family of employees are on another level! The care and love that they have for the local people and travelers is hard to come by these days Ben Ellis and the employees truly enjoy their job and enjoy their community there multi decades in cashmere appreciate them and there staff over the years! The soda fountain has been a fun place for everyone over the years along with all the beautiful gifts. Everything is perfectly picked out and displayed I love looking and buying gifts for special occasions!
