Divine Nursing and Rehab at Shane Hill

I could not ask for a better home for my mother who has dementia. From the first time that I walked into the door and saw all the smiling faces and everybody seems so eager to take care of my mom. The staff is amazing and treat my mom like family. My mom lived with me before a nursing home, and I took care of her, so deciding to move her to a nursing home was a very hard decision and all the people at Divine at Shane Hill really took a lot of of the worry and stress away from me. The peace of mind in knowing that my mom is cared for and loved means more to me than anything.

My mother spent her entire life working in nursing homes, so I was extremely hesitant about placing her in one after everything I’ve seen and the way some patients are treated. Divine has truly put those fears to rest. The staff here has been wonderful and very helpful. When you see people caring for others the way my mother once did, it brings great peace of mind. I am truly thankful for the staff and the excellent care they’ve given my mom.

The environment is calm and consistent, with day-to-day routines clearly in place.

My husband was here for about a month due to falling and illness. I brought him home today. The nurses, aides, therapy staff, are absolutely wonderful! They did everything they could to give him and me a diagnosis of what was going on with him. If not for the caring staff here, I don't think he would be able to come home. They are wonderful and truly care for their residents. Thank you again Devine! I am so grateful to each and everyone of you!!

The Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford is a wonderful, hometown facility. I have visited many friends and family members there, and it is always a warm, welcoming experience. The staff is caring and compassionate. The building is clean and inviting. It's a wonderful resource for our community!
