Direct Performance Physical Therapy

I have used Direct Performance - Kempsville for several years for maintenance PT as well as post surgery recovery from multiple surgeries, most recently from torn rotator cuff / bicep tendon surgery. Working with Dr. Jen was great. The one on one sessions provided dedicated care specific to my needs at each phase of recovery. Starting with initial mobility work the week after surgery while still in the sling, all the way to active workouts 6 months post surgery, Dr. Jen provided excellent care and advice with the sole purpose of getting me back active to full sport. I would highly recommend Dr. Jen and the team at Direct Performance for all your physical therapy needs.

I was having severe neck and shoulder pain that was triggering migraines, and numbness in my finger fingers. Dr. Andy was thorough in his assessment and evaluation Each visit to look for improvement or changes. The exercises and stretches he gave me were able to be done at home and the gym. The dry needling helped a great deal! His expertise helped me reach my goals of increased strength, less pain, and no numbness. If (most likely when due to age and activities) I run into any other issues with joints or muscles I will definitely make appointments with him.

She was very encouraging throughout my recovery process while still pushing me to be successful in my treatment plan. The Kempsville facility was always clean and organized, and I never had issues with appointment scheduling. Victoria is very passionate about helping her patients and extremely knowledgeable about ACL reconstruction.

I strongly recommend Direct Performance Physical Therapy. It was good to have more than one location as an option for service. Dr. Victoria was amazing. Communication was efficient. Appointments were never late. Scheduling with the therapist was flexible and simple. I will use this company again!

Corinne was absolutely amazing. After I dislocated my shoulder, I thought my entire summer was going to be spent on the sidelines rehabbing. She was able to see me right away and schedule a full rehab plan. She paid attention to the where the pain was and the progress I was making and adjusted the workouts accordingly. She was very knowledgeable and always welcomed my questions. Her answers were informative and kept me positive on the progress we were making. I was back to full strength 1 week prior to her prediction. When we test my shoulder strength it was slightly stronger than the other shoulder. Her plan worked and my shoulder is better than ever. I would recommend Corinne and Direct Performance to anyone who is need of physical Therapy.
