Received a notice I was going to collections. I never heard back from them saying they would speak with their manager about owing a cancellation fee from being sick. I sent a text the morning of my appointment letting them know how sick I was throwing up. I could not get out of bed and move. Yet alone keep anything down. I was not referred to DOC by my doctor. I found DOC myself and transferred to DOC from the place my ortho wanted me to go to. I started in October going multiple times giving DOC business and paying $1,285.83. I really liked it there and actually loved my PT Mary and the staff. I stopped going right until the end of December because of this invoice for a cancellation fee. This was upsetting that after all this time and multiple sessions DOC wants to charge me a cancellatio

Mary and the PT team in Frisco is great. HOWEVER, DOC management could not care less about their patients. I canceled a PT appointment 1 day in advance due to COVID. I was charged $50 for the cancelation. Their 48 hour cancelation policy forces me to show up to an appointment with COVID and expose the medical staff and their patients to COVID, rather than staying home to recover and keeping their patients safe. Someone remind this group they are in the healthcare business.

I would give negative lower star if possible. Have the worst billing department. Would not even consider medical emergency and are closed on weekends to inform them about missing the appointment. Just want to charge patients for the sake of making money
