The waiting room was full when I walked in and the first person I saw at the desk was friendly and efficient. I was checked in long before my surgery time and entered the world of EFFICIENCY PERSONIFIED. Friendly, worked as a team and were amazing.

My experience was mixed with an amazing surgeon (Dr. Hatfield is amazing), fantastic PT (thank you Esther and AB!), a phenomenal experience waking up in my hospital room with the day nurse and nurse aides. The night shift was not so awesome and I had to reach out to family member so I could feel safe given I couldn’t move with my new knee-still I avoided asking for anything until day shift return and begged to go home that day which I was finally approved for discharge around 2pm. Overall I would say the people who are good are BEYOND good and the ones who definitely have zero compassion or concern for patients are firmly committed to their choice to be that way. It’s sad really cause it could be an amazing hospital but now it’s just for me the place I will be forced to return to for an

Absolutely amazing place. I have very bad anxiety and had my knee surgery for 3 ligaments here, and the entire time I felt like the staff actually cared about me and I enjoyed it. Very helpful and nice ladies up front, even my parents shared a similar opinion with me on their kindness. The registration people were great, helpful, and informative. The nurses were extremely nice, helped calm me down a lot, as well as the anesthesiologist. They answered all my questions and the doctor (Dr. Eifler) did the surgery, and followed up with me later the same day. This is what a hospital should feel like all the time. I have had terrible experiences with hospitals in the past, but not here, this was a genuinely awesome place with even better people.

The whole experience was great! My husband had rotator cuff surgery that went well. Everyone was very nice and my husband and I felt very cared for. We felt very safe the entire time. There is a monitor that tells you where they are in the surgery process. They called the next day to see how he was doing and they even sent him a personalized Get Well Card! What a nice touch. Thanks to Tiffany, Victoria, Gabe, Cat and everyone else that helped us through this!

I am recuperating from a spinal laminectomy and fusion that took place at Arizona Specialty Hospital. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital and the facility and how they prepared me for the surgery as well as the care during and after my operation. The doctors and nursing team is top notch from the time you walk in the door till the day you get discharged! They also have a fabulous chef and the meals are absolutely delicious and very calorie conscious. They even took the time to send a get well card when I got home with all the signatures of the different team members! who does that?? I highly recommend them if you’re having back, neck, knees or hip replacement!
