If you want to be talked over, fat shamed and feel like your being pushed out because they cant make money off surgery this is the place for you. She wouldn't hear me out. I should have known when she wasn't even sure how to read the MRI on her own that I should have gotten another doctor. Not only was she rude but she also didn't go over all of my notes from my previous visit and completely forgot about that I have other issues on my spine that we did not do an MRI of. She brought up my weight multiple times and despite me explaining to her that even when I was at my lightest I was still struggling with pain and that the pain makes it difficult to lose weight especially when working out and things like that and she still kept blaming my weight. I understand I am considered overweight but

I had to come on here to leave a review. The NP Michelle was amazing. Such a sweet patient informative doctor. Super grateful she took her time with my mother and I. In all experiences many doctors are in and out but she wasn’t. She sat down with us for if not an hour almost an hour! Amazing! Thank you so much and kudos.

Dr. A. Patel is an excellent Neurosurgeon. I am 3 weeks post op from an ALIF surgery and i feel way much better. I am recovering fast and my pain is minimal now. Thank you for everything Dr. A. Patel!

NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY! Dr. Padilla disregarded my condition and refused to fill out my work documents. My appointment was at 0915 and and I wasn't seen until a whole hour later. The doctor was rude and condescending. There aren't that many neurosurgeons in the valley so I had to come to DHR which I normally avoid like the plague. The doctor seemed frustrated during my visit and wanted to get it over quickly even though I was already in the patient room a full hour before being seen. He said "surprise surprise someone in the military's has back problems" in a very unpleasant manner. Like I bugged him for even showing up. This was a second opinion visit.
