Desert Shores Pediatrics PC

I absolutely love Dr. Grant at Desert Shore Pediatrics!!!! He is attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients 🤗 They are never pushy and respectful. The front desk staff is and nurses are always friendly, smiling and helpful! Dr Grant and the nurses remember the kids by names and the free sticker at the end of the visit is always loved by the kids. Highly recommend this practice 🤗

We took our daughter to this pediatrician for the first three months of her life and ultimately decided to switch due to concerns with the quality of care. Several interactions left us feeling uncomfortable and not confident in the providers’ knowledge. One notable incident involved a doctor not knowing what omega-3s were, which was surprising and concerning for a pediatric practice. We also felt there was unnecessary pressure around our daughter’s weight. Despite her gaining approximately one ounce per day—which is appropriate—we were repeatedly asked to come in for frequent weight checks and encouraged to supplement with formula, even though breastfeeding was going well and we did not wish to supplement. I’ve had great experiences with a few providers. Jean Mullen was amazing!! We are bummed she since retired. April is outstanding; I saw her specifically for a lactation consult. She was upbeat, friendly, warm, took the time, quite thorough and provided great guidance. I did not feel rushed. We love Dr.Baron. She is a calm and reassuring presence, provides clear guidance and is thorough in her assessment. We saw Ashley as well and she provided clear communication, is attentive to detail and provided good patient care. We are happy with the care we receive here!

First visit after our fav doc retired, my son, 13, saw April at the Gilbert office for a lingering sinus/respiratory infection. April was GREAT! Would feel 100% confident in her being our kids new main provider. Front office and back office staff were wonderful as always! 20 years and 3 kids at Desert Shores, we could not ask for a better pediatrician office! Best around, hands down.

We chose Desert Shores to trust in our first newborn's care and they haven't disappointed! We have seen Taryne, April, and Kelli and they have all been such great providers. We really appreciate that they follow and practice AAP guidelines. They take the time to listen to any concerns and never make you feel rushed. The front office deserves some kudos too. We've been dealing with a hiccup in insurance and they have always been on top of communication.
