Desert Oasis Healthcare Immediate Care - Palm Springs

There were lots of patients waiting at this urgent care center when I arrived, and as a visitor to the area, I was anticipating the worst. However, Dr. Nawurah, the immediate care med staff, and the radiology team were all fabulous. Handling a huge variety of medical concerns, everyone was professional, empathetic, upbeat and knowledgeable. The exam room included a video screen on the wall that my physician used to explain my condition (very helpful). My treatment was successful, and I am so grateful for services provided.

I rarely write reviews, but I made a point to find time to write this one. The staff, including the doctor and nurse who saw me today were some of the best health care folks I've ever dealt with. I am visiting Palm Springs and woke up this morning with a painful issue. A bit stressed because I am on vacation, I found Desert Oasis online and took a chance. I am grateful that I did. The doctor and nurse who I met with both had the best bedside manner a patient could ask for. The right blend of professional, yet human. There is a pharmacy onsite as well, which saved me stress of having to find one locally. As a visitor, who woke up with pain and didn't know where to go — this was the best possible outcome. Highly recommend.

I was in here last week getting my TB test read. After 48 minutes I was called in. The woman tells me to sit down and I did, then she starts grabbing at me talking AT me about blood pressure. She's grabbing at me and I kept repeating "why are you touching me??? Just read the TB test!!!" She says, "I AM going to read your bp!" I told her it's going to be high and she asked if I had medicine for it, yes, I do. But I have a doctor, please read the TB test. "If you have a doctor why are you here!!" READ THE TEST. Finally, a woman appears telling the nurse to read the test and get me out. Then I had to ask her what the result was and how I would get the results to PSUSD. She snapped at me that it will be emailed to them. It was the most bewildering office visit I ever had. I walked out feeling

i moved to Palm Springs month ago and have no idea where to go when I got sick , And glad I choose this place , I try to not pay attention to some negative reviews because I know it’s all depends on the person and how he view things in general ,,,, for me I have great experience there the front desk was nice fell out the forms that’s needed then 30 minutes I was in room waiting the Dr , Dr was fast got me some quick test , I have strip throat Dr send me some antibiotics to my pharmacy and gave me paper for work .The process take about an hour or so . I will be back for sure if I needed to and highly recommend place .

I am Staff, and I I know we treat our members with dignity and respect. I al also a member/patient. I was at Immediate Care, saw Dr Heather Jones, and virtual visit with Dr Lloyd. Finally saw my Neurologist Dr I Sebti. As a patient, I've have the BEST experience. I am very FORTUNATE to be a Staff of this organization.
