Desert Bloom Birth Center

I delivered my healthy baby girl on October 23, 2025 at Desert Bloom Birth Center. Throughout my pregnancy I felt so taken care of. They were always available when I messaged the on call number any time I needed something. The birth was incredible. I felt like I could lead every step of the way based on how my body felt. Melissa was the midwife at the birth and she was always there when I needed her. She helped deliver my baby safely even though baby was in slightly the wrong position. It was a great experience from start to finish. I’m looking forward to having my future children here as well!

I cannot recommend this birth center enough! all the midwives and staff are amazing. I felt so seen, understood and taken care of throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. they are thorough in their work and make sure YOU feel confident and ready for birth. they more than respected all of my wishes and made my birth the best I could’ve imagined. I honestly miss seeing them all haha, melissa is one of the most loving people i’ve ever met! I will tell every pregnant person I know to come here, you will have a blessed experience!!

2 births at the birthing center (2024 & 2025) -- I left my ObGyn for my first birth and it was such a huge difference (in the best way)! There's A LOT more personal care, all the women @ the BC are like family. They really get to know you whereas my ObGyn starting recognizing my face by the third trimester (I switched to BC very late in my pregnancy). It's just a completely different experience where it's fluid, warm and completely relationship based. The ObGyn was very 'corporate'. The care leading to the birth is phenomenal. Natural birth is hard I'm not going to sugarcoat it. But if you choose to do it, you need a team of women that will be calm and encourage you. During both my births, I had a full team which I loved. Having my second baby at home with Midwife Mellissa through the birth center. My first home birth with Mellissa was truly life-changing. From the very first appointment, Mellissa was nurturing, calm, and incredibly thorough. She took the time to listen — really listen — to my questions, concerns, and hopes for my birth. Could not recommend them enough. Having midwives that care, are intentional, thorough & give space for you to ask/feel whatever you need to is so important. I’m so thankful for all the women here that truly make you feel so safe & seen throughout your pregnancy & birth experience. I was immediately obsessed with Melissa & felt so cared for by her. My niece came to an appointment once & she let her listen to baby & even taught her how to feel for baby in my belly. Just such an intentional & genuine person :,) love all of them & would never want to go anywhere else!
