I was referred to this practice due to unusual adhesions of itchy, stingy and flaky skin on my scalp. They seemed to come on quickly and were unbearably distracting and uncomfortable. My hair had begun to fall out, and I was hopeful that this dermatologist would have solutions to treat and heal the problem before it worsened. Well, she told me “ she thinks it is psoriasis,” and also stated there is no treatment for psoriasis except for the drugstore Cerave. Cerave must offer amazing conferences and perks to dermatologists because it seems that’s all they ever recommend. I’m an aesthetician, and every client I’ve had who uses Cerave has dry, flaky skin and usually rosacea as a result.
