Dermatology Clinic of Harlingen - Oasis Dermatology Group, PLLC

We had a very pleasant experience at Oasis Dermatology in Harlingen. We traveled from Edinburg so my teen son and I could be seen at the same time rather than going to separate clinics, and it was extremely convenient. The staff was friendly and professional, and both doctors we saw were excellent. We felt well cared for and would definitely recommend this clinic.

Dr. Slueman was exceptionally thorough and attentive. She took the time to explain everything in a way that my 11‑year‑old could easily understand, ensuring her young patients feel informed and comfortable. Her clear communication and patient centered approach gave us confidence in the care she provided.

Although the staff are polite, I'm not sure if I trust their judgment. The cream I received doesn't work but the Dr. Told me its not meant to make things go away, just meant to make it better so I was okay with that. Then she started to use google right in front of me to see what else she could give me. Im also pregnant and she said I could use one thing and then decided to google it . Google said no so she said oh sorry I thought this was safe. She didnt bother to replace the shampoo I was prescribed in a previous visit before I was pregnant, as she would have to figure out which was safe so she just told me to replace it with store shampoo. All this for a $50 co pay each time.. just for her to google. I will not be returning.

Very professional, attentive, and friendly staff. Got a quick appointment, which usually does not happen with dermatology. Definitely will keep this doctor's office.

I took my young son to this dermatologist clinic, and our experience was very disappointing. The doctor who treated my son’s warts showed no sympathy or care toward him. She was very cold, didn’t try to comfort him at all, and rushed through the procedure. My son was scared and in pain, and there was no reassurance or compassion shown. As soon as she finished, she quickly left for lunch with her assistants which made the whole visit feel rushed and impersonal. I expected more kindness and patience, especially when treating a child. She did not bother checking to see if my son was okay. Watching him cry while she showed no compassion at all was painful. No child deserves to be treated that way.
