Robin Balkin has been an ABSOLUTE life saver for me. She is so kind and understanding, and incredibly good at her job. She has worked with me over the past 3 years to find the right medication for me and recommended consulting another doctor of mine before she started me on a medication to make sure it would not impact other issues. I needed to have my skin checked as it had been more than 2 years since I had a dermatologist do a screen. I moved to gainesville in 2024 and did not have a dermatologist. In addition, there were a couple of things I had grown and I wanted to know if they were problematic. I called a couple of months ago this practice and the appointments available for a new patient were months away. Another provider in gainesville had an appointment in late November so I took that appointment. When my spot started bleeding a few days ago, I called the provider that I had an appointment with the end of November. I visited this office a while ago about some spots on my skin that concerned me. I was told by whatever doctor saw me that I was wasting her time by coming in, and that any spots on my skin before I turned 35 were not of concern. Not only is this medically untrue, this is extremely dangerous to tell people who don't know any better and will believe this. Teenagers die of skin cancer. Avoid this place like the plague.
