When I first started at DCN. I had mixed feelings. An old building in desperate need of a tune up in the heart of Denver where parking didn’t come easy or cheap and less than dazzling reviews. Then, around the end of my first quarter, the school picked a new president (Mikal Powers), and as the quarters passed, I saw the school start to change for the better one quarter after another. So much in fact, that when I finally graduated, I couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous of the new cohorts, with the freshly modernized remodeling, the consistency in information across all quarters, the student support, and the overall amazing facility this school had grown into and I’m sure continues to grow to now. I attribute these changes to President Powers and the new life he was able to breathe into
I’ve had a fantastic experience at Denver College of Nursing so far. The faculty are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in our success. The curriculum is well-structured and prepares you thoroughly for clinical practice. I’ve found the environment to be encouraging and professional, and I truly feel I’m being set up for success as a future nurse. I’m really happy I chose to pursue my nursing degree here!
I am so grateful for my experience at DCN. I feel prepared to step into the nursing world, and that confidence comes from the amazing support and knowledge I received here. The instructors and staff are truly wonderful—always willing to help, encourage, guide you through every challenge, and listen to your concerns. Also, I met some of my forever friends here, which is something I’ll cherish just as much as my education. Highly recommend!
This school was such an amazing experience! Nursing school is HARD, but the teachers and staff here made my life long dream a reality and in one short month I will be graduating. I had some hardships along the way, but the staff and my forever friends I met along the way, helped me get to where I am. I highly recommend DCN!
This college does the most to create rules and situations to benefit them but not you as a student. The cost is expensive in comparison to some but cheaper in comparison. The 18/21 month options are nice. It helps books are included but that’s ebooks if you need regular books that is an additional expense. They offer incentives upon graduation that almost no one can/will take advantage of. Before you get your ATT they already send you a flyer to come back and get another degree. There is no remorse or understanding that life happens. Sometimes students have to prioritize failing over safety like in winter when roads are questionable. The college is aware there are students from far (Greeley, Pueblo, and ellicott) and give no leniency even when best effort is given. In regular work there ar
