After over 10 years of consistent six-month checkups with my previous dentist, I was forced to switch to this office due to insurance changes. My first red flag was the probing, which was much more painful than usual. They immediately recommended a deep cleaning, which I found very odd considering my prior dentist never once mentioned a need for such a procedure during my most recent six-month checkup. Despite my intuition, I let them convince me to proceed—assuming that either my previous dentist hadn’t been thorough or this office was simply being more proactive. Dentists of Maitland made my first visit fantastic! Vanessa was outstanding—warm, gentle, super attentive, and explained everything so clearly that I felt completely at ease. Dr. Overmeyer was excellent too, thorough and reassuring throughout the exam. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend this practice! 5 stars!

Dr Jessica Overmeyer and her team are very friendly and professional. I had a great experience at this dental practice. The office is clean, modern and advanced. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I was very impressed with the hygienist :Weixi Liu! She’s very thorough . I had a wonderful appointment six months ago- very routine, with x-rays and routine cleaning. The dentist, hygienist, and staff were great. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about my appointment today. I had a different hygienist today who poked my gums (for measurements) much harder than any hygienist ever has before (I’ve had routine dentist appts every six months for years). The numbers she came up with were very different than my evaluation at the same office six months ago and all of the sudden, they are recommending that I get a deep cleaning procedure (scaling and root planing). For personal reasons, I explained that I was not comfortable with getting that done right now and would prefer a routine cleaning. They refused to do a routine cleaning, so I left without receiving what I
