Dental Care of South Aiken

I don’t take leaving reviews lightly, because everyone should be able to make their own decision. That said, this experience was frustrating enough that I feel it’s worth sharing so others are aware. Last year I scheduled dental appointments for both myself and my husband for August. Shortly after, my husband had spine surgery and we needed to reschedule. We were pushed out about six months and told we were scheduled for March. After that, I repeatedly received automated texts saying I was overdue for an appointment, which didn’t make sense. When I called to clarify, I was told I actually was not scheduled for March at all, and the soonest appointment available was now September. I went ahead and scheduled it. The do not take Concordia. Reason why this is important is that I was told they do. They are a corporation as I found out which isn't a big deal I don't care but that means that some take some insurance and some don't. I was refer to this place because I was told they do take it and that they do good work. But I find that hard to believe since I made this appointment over a month ago today and they could not be bothered to inform me that they do not take my insurance until the day of the appointment after I spend an 45 minutes driving here.

The dental hygienist was very pleasant and responsive to my concerns. I was happy with my cleaning. However, I do feel the wait to be seen was a little long especially since it was a 9 am appointment.

Great experience from start to finish. I don’t like going to the dentist ( who does) but I had multiple issues and Dental Care of South Aiken handled everything from cleaning, x-rays even an implant with total professionalism. Thanks M J

Actually a really good experience. There was a problem with scheduling (as what happens with technology) and the sweet ladies at the front desk took the time to solve it. They listened to my concerns, gave me comfort, and fit me in the busy schedule. Tekila was fabulous with the cleaning--I said my teeth never felt cleaner! I don't love going to the dentist, but I felt cared for. 5 stars
