I've had multiple great experiences here. I have the WORST anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Everyone is so accommodating, they even gave me a dinosaur to hold yesterday (pic below) because I was extremely nervous. I also had to get a lot of work done a couple of months ago and opted for the IV sedation. Very smooth experience. They give you anxiety meds to take the night before and the morning of. When it was over, I got home and slept the rest of the day. Woke up and all my teeth were fixed lol no pain and no memory of any of it. The staff is truly amazing. Will definitely opt for the IV sedation again in the future if I need more work done and have definitely found my forever dentist lol

Absolutely the best experience I've had at a dentist's office. I have very high dental anxiety and they were flawless. First ever root canal, only mild irritation the day after. Also great personalities, attitudes and overall atmosphere. I'd give them infinity stars if I could! 💚 Tiger stress ball was a plus too (such a trooper lol)

Everyone is so caring at the office from the front desk to the dental chair! Always greet you with a smile and usually by name, they make you feel comfortable the minute you walk in. They know their stuff and explain exactly what they are doing each step, always asking if you're doing ok. Recently had some deep-gum cleanings and she was so careful, explaining and showing me areas of concern. "The treatment plan" is underway. Of course Dr. Shiver is just like that, so you know he has shared that compassion with his office staff. You know you're getting the best care when you're there. He even follows up with a phone call after major procedures! I highly recommend the Dental Care Center of South Kansas City.

This place is amazing. I discovered it a year or two ago when they offered free minor fixes and cleanings for veterans on veterans day. Recently had a root canal that went extremely well.The next day, I recieved a call from them. Not just staff, but the Doctor who performed the surgery to check up on me. Thank you Dr. Erwin(apologize if I spelt it wrong) and the rest of the staff at this office. You all did extremely well and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Katie is by far the best hygienist ever. Dr Stivers is the best dentist ever as well. They really work with you and your insurance to ensure you don’t end up with a huge bill. Wonderful people. Everyone!!❤️❤️
